Class Description
Advanced Photography
OThe advanced class will continue the teachings from the
fundamental class in night photography to the use of fill lighting and the creative process of painting with light.
The students may work in pairs on this assignment. The next area we will cover will be of close-up or macro photography.
The use of special macro lenses or close-up attachments will be needed. If you have any questions about these types
of lenses or attachment, please call for assistants. I will have several of these close-up attachments available
for student use. As we continue the student experience, our next exercise will concentrate on pan & shoot or
simply put, the action shot. Whether it be a sporting event or a family member in motion, the exercise will give
you the working knowledge to shoot actions. The following week will focus on people pictures. We will explore some
basic compositions rules and lighting techniques to help improve the student's knowledge when photographing people.
The last week will be devoted to the student's choice of a special project.
